Thriving to achieve our best-together!
At West Moors Middle, we strive to provide a secure, friendly and happy learning environment for all our children. As a small two-form entry, village middle school, we currently have 218 pupils on roll with our vision for all children to achieve their full potential and thrive to be the best that they can be- together. All that we do stems from this inclusive ethos, including our core values: Care, Aspire, Achieve and Respect.
The school is a caring, respectful community, supported by an energetic and committed staff. This, together with our hard working Governors, Parents’ Teachers Friends Association (PTFA), and parent and carer volunteers ensures that the children are always the focus of school life and are valued both as individuals and as part of our whole school family.
Our school is focused on promoting the children’s academic, physical and spiritual development, inspiring them to aim high in all areas of schooling and personal development, and in doing so lay down good foundations for their continued progress in life. We coach children to be resilient in all situations and challenges and, in our broad and balanced curriculum, actively seek ways to for them to explore and nurture their creativity.
We hope this website gives you an insight into what makes West Moors Middle special. We pride ourselves on being dynamic and forward thinking, and if you would like to visit or find out more information, we would be delighted to meet you and show you our school in more detail.

@FernMiddlePE Despite the disappointment, the team displayed amazing courage and technical ability to play from the back, in order to build, create and finish attacks from the GK.
Certainly plenty of positives to take into the upcoming @PEDSPORT league campaign!

Our KS2 side travelled to Ferndown Middle School to take on @FernMiddlePE, Lytchett Matravers and St Michael's Middle School in the regional qualifier for the County Cup.
Unfortunately, a draw and narrow defeats in our final two games meant missing out on qualification.
