STEM and Robotics Workshop – Bournemouth University The BU students will be joining us at WMMS for a day to speak to all years regarding the different STEM courses available to our students. They then assisted our grade 8s to take part in a practical robotics and lego workshop. |

Barclays Talent Foundry Life Skills created with Barclays is a fully funded employability programme that is designed to respond to the specific needs of the school and help support the students in becoming the best that they can be. Workshops such as self-confidence building, recognising and building personal skills and adaptability are some of the inspirational workshops that the Talent Foundry will be sharing with our students. |

Maz Evans – Author This famous author came to speak to our children about her life as an author and the importance of creative writing. Some of our students that have shown great enthusiasm for writing, were treated to a personal writing workshop with Maz Evans. |

Jeff Mostyn, Chairman of Bournemouth Football Club Jeff kindly spent a morning sharing his life experiences as a Football Coach, manager and player. He spoke about various career choices in football and how fascinating his career has been for him.

Big Bang Dorset Fair at Bovington Tank Museum Yr 8 are very excited to be taking part in a huge Careers convention in Dorset. They will get the opportunity to explore various scientific stands and displays, as well as take part in some exciting experiments throughout the afternoon. |
